ITINERARY

Friday

We head north, making comfort stops en route, to Perth and the Salutation Hotel for our three night stay. We arrive at our hotel in time for you to relax and enjoy the evening meal.

Saturday

After a full Scottish breakfast we leave for Edinburgh where you will have time to see the sights of this magnificent city before re-boarding the coach for the short trip to the Castle for the early evening performance of the spectacular Edinburgh Tattoo. After the show the coach will take you back to the hotel for supper.

Sunday

After a leisurely breakfast we head to one of Europe’s finest towns – St Andrews is a place of history, learning and culture, a wonderful coastal resort, and the world’s home of golf. You’ll stumble across something of historic interest every time you turn a corner in St Andrews. A must see for every visitor are the cathedral ruins which are truly spectacular. Thought to be the original location of the relics of St Andrew, the Chapel of St Mary on the Rock (late 12th/early 13th century), foundations can still be seen just outside the Cathedral walls and can be visited at all times. There are also tremendous views out to sea to be enjoyed from this elevated position.

Monday

Sadly after our last Scottish breakfast we check out of the Salutation Hotel and head for home, taking comfort stops en route.
