We will pick you up from home and take you to meet the coach at your nearest joining point. En route to Somerset we will have comfort stops along the way in order to stretch your legs and get some lunch (not included). We arrive at the hotel in time for your scrumptious dinner this evening.

After breakfast we visit Cheddar Gorge, Britain’s biggest gorge. Take in the dramatic cliffs rising up 450 ft and explore the stunning stalactite caverns below, created by ice age melt waters over millions of years. This world famous beauty spot is not only a nature reserve but also a famous site of prehistoric discoveries. Entrance to the caves included. In the afternoon we continue with a stop at Weston-Super-Mare a popular tourist destination with it’s long sandy beach. Take a stroll down the promenade and visit the Grand Pier. We return in time for evening dinner.

Today we visit Wells, the smallest Cathedral City in England. The wells, which give the city its name are located within the grounds of the Bishop’s Palace, which is still the residence of Bishops of Bath and Wells. Also of interest are the Vicars’ Close, claimed to be the oldest complete medieval street in Europe, and the market place. Returning to the hotel in time for dinner.

After a leisurely breakfast enjoy a free day in Street.  Maybe visit Clarks Village, an outlet shopping village, for some retail therapy. It was established in 1993 on the site of old C&J Clark factory buildings. Whether you are walking through the shop filled High Street or sipping a coffee in one of the many coffee shops there is something of interest for all. Don’t forget to return to the hotel in time for dinner this evening.

After a full English breakfast we check out of our hotel and travel to Bath. With 5,000 buildings listed for their architectural merit, flower-filled streets, Roman ruins, parks, and gardens, its little wonder the entire city of Bath is a World Heritage Site. Don’t miss the Roman Ruins and the Baths, they are a must see, as is a visit to Bath’s Pump Room – one of the city’s most elegant places to enjoy stylish, modern-British cuisine. Sadly we depart for home late afternoon, arriving home late evening where our door to door service will take you home
