ITINERARY

Friday
We journey via the motorway network to St Agnes for 5 nights half board accommodation at the Rosemundy House Hotel.

Excursions:

  • We travel via the small resort of Portreath to beautiful St Ives, with its cobbled streets, galleries and craft shops.
  • Morning visit to Perranporth – this is Poldark country, Winston Graham wrote his first Poldark novel whilst living here.
  • Afternoon to Porthleven – an historic and picturesque fishing harbour overlooking Mounts Bay, ideally located between Lands End and Lizard Point. We also visit Marazion, set on the shores of Mount Bay with its clean sandy beaches and stunning views towards Lizards Peninsula.
  • The Cathedral city of Truro and the small fishing village of Mevagissey. Wednesday After breakfast we depart for home via the main roads and motorway, hoping to arrive home early evening

THE ROSEMUNDY HOUSE HOTEL

The Rosemundy House Hotel is a family run hotel, set in four acres of secluded gardens and woodland within the picturesque village of St Agnes on the north Cornish coast. All bedrooms are en suite with tea/coffee making facilities, TV, telephone and hair dryer. At the end of the day relax in the olde world atmosphere of the ‘Tom Noggi’restaurant where you can dine on freshly prepared traditional fayre.

There is an attractive licensed bar with an extensive wine list. There is no lift but rooms are on the ground and first floor
