Eastbourne Coach Trip

Taxis will collect you from your door to meet the coach as we start our journey via the main roads and motorways, with leisure stops en route, to Eastbourne for 4 nights half board accommodation at the Lansdowne Hotel.

Tuesday to Thursday Itinerary Includes

  • Today we make our way to Brighton via Lewes. Brighton has elegant Regency architecture, museums and probably the most exotic extravagant Royal Palace in Europe, The Royal Pavilion, home of King George IV. For shopping try The Lanes, smart and chic and the bohemian North Lane.
  • A full day excursion to Rye and Hastings. The ancient and picturesque town of Rye was originally one of the most important channel ports. Amongst the array of places to visit is the cobbled Mermaid Street which still retains many of its 15th-16th century buildings. Hastings is famous as the site of the famous battle of 1066, although it actually took place in Battle. The winding ‘twittens’ of the Old Town and its three miles of unspoilt beaches were key locations in the TV drama series ‘Foyle’s War’.
  • Free day in Eastbourne

After a full English breakfast we depart with fond memories of our time at the Landsdowne and head for home, again taking leisure stops en route. When we reach local areas taxis will be waiting to take you to your front door.
