    Tremendous Tenby Carmarthen Castle

Sunday 29th September to Thursday 3rd October – 5 days

This holiday is a firm favorite with Tyrers customers; Tenby is a delightful harbour town and seaside resort. The town itself is home to many restaurants, shops, cafes and pubs all linked by cobbled streets.

The Belgrave Hotel

Situated in a superb seafront position the Belgrave overlooks Tenby’s beautiful south beach and Monastic Island of Caldey. Here you can relax in the warm, friendly and comfortable atmosphere of the hotel and enjoy excellent freshly cooked dishes in the restaurant and watch the sun set in the Victoria bar. All bedrooms are en suite with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a lift in service but there are some steps to be negotiated.

All tours subject to alterations and booking conditions.

A morning departure as we make our way to Tenby and the popular Belgrave Hotel with leisure stops en route. We arrive at the hotel in time for you to settle in before dinner.

Excursions Include:

  • A full day excursion to Laugharne and Carmarthen. Laugharne (pronounced Larne) is the former home of the poet Dylan Thomas, immortalised in his work ‘Under Milk Wood’, but it is interesting in itself as an ancient town with a Welsh castle and quaint winding streets. We then spend the remainder of our time in Carmarthen before coming back to The Belgrave Hotel.
  • We enjoy an excursion which takes us first of all to Narberth, a gorgeous little market town in the east of Pembrokeshire. Multicoloured Edwardian and Georgian buildings line the High Street which has developed quite a reputation as a shoppers haven. After spending some free time here we continue to Haverfordwest the attractive and ancient county town of Pembrokeshire.
  • Free day in Tenby to simply relax or explore, maybe take a boat trip to Caldey Island, not forgetting to return for afternoon tea!

Sadly after breakfast we have to depart with fond memories of the week’s holiday. We have comfort stops en route to Lancashire before returning home late afternoon. The door to door service will then take you back to your front door.
